TOTAL EVENTS @ Viswanadha's Pharmotsav-2k17
Viswanadha's Pharmotsav-2k17 events are categorized under three headings: Pre-Conference, During Conference and Post Conference events.
NOTE: There is no individual event fee. Registration fee of Rs. 350/- is inclusive of all these activities and every registered delegate is eligible for participation in any of these events satisfying the event wise rules and regulations.
Pre-Conference Events
Pre-Conference events are those whose entries are to be submitted prior to the Fest as per the respective guidelines. The submitted entries will be evaluated by the panel of jury and the winner(s) will be awarded with prize and merit certificate during the Valedictory function of Fest.

Selfie Contest
This is first of its kind contest introduced by VNIPS. The theme of the contest is “Selfie with Beauty of Nature”. The selfie has to be submitted to whatsapp number 7036845053. Only one entry from each participant is accepted.
Dub Smash
Dubbing action for any movie dialogues has to be captured as a video with duration of not more than 2 minutes and has to be submitted to whatsapp number 9030918948. Only one entry from each participant is accepted.
Cartoon Contest
Theme: Pharmacist Career. Scan the cartoon drawn by yourself and submit to vnips.vizag@gmail.com
Video Speech
Your speech on “Demonitization” has to be video recorded and submitted to whatsapp number 9553942871.
Skit Hungama
Teams can video record their skit performance and can submit to us in CD or DVD by calling us on 8500444400. Duration of not more than 15 minutes skit is accepted.
Short Film Contest

Essay Writing
Topic: Women in Industry. Not more than 2000 words typed in MS word file and free from Plagiarism. Submit to vnips.vizag@gmail.com
Quill Art
Self made Quill arts are to be brought and submitted directly at registration desk on first day of fest for evaluation. Interested candidates have to enrol their names by sending a mail to vnips.vizag@gmail.com
Pot Painting
Participants have to submit their painted pots at registration desk on first day of fest for evaluation. Interested candidates have to enrol their names by sending a mail to vnips.vizag@gmail.com
Throw Ball
It is for female participants: 2 teams are permitted from each college. Each team should comprise of 7 students. Send the team details to vnips.vizag@gmail.com on or before 20-2-2017. Throw ball competition will be held at VNIPS campus, Visakhapatnam on 21-2-2017. All team members should be registered candidates.
Volley Ball
It is for male participants: 2 teams are permitted from each college. Each team should comprise of 6 students. Send the team details to vnips.vizag@gmail.com on or before 20-2-2017. Volley ball competition will be held at VNIPS campus, Visakhapatnam on 21-2-2017. All team members should be registered candidates.
Shuttle
It is for male or female participants: 2 teams are permitted from each college. Each team should comprise of 1 or 2 students. Send the team details to vnips.vizag@gmail.com on or before 20-2-2017. Shuttle competition will be held at VNIPS campus, Visakhapatnam on 21-2-2017. All team members should be registered candidates.
Tennikoit
It is for male or female participants: 2 teams are permitted from each college. Each team should comprise of 1 or 2 students. Send the team details to vnips.vizag@gmail.com on or before 20-2-2017. Tennikoit competition will be held at VNIPS campus, Visakhapatnam on 21-2-2017. All team members should be registered candidates.
During Conference Events
Viswanadha's Pharmotsav-2k17 consists of different events scheduled during the two days of Conference. However, the submission of abstracts and enrolment of names for Pharma Quiz, Rangoli, Nail art, Mehendi & Tattooing should be done on or before 20-2-2017 by email vnips.vizag@gmail.com .

Plenary Lectures
Distinguished speakers from academia and industry will deliver plenary lectures as a part of scientific sessions to enlighten the delegates.

Pharma Quiz
Each team should comprise of 3 students from any stream of Pharmacy courses. All the 3 should be registered delegates. Preliminary screening will be done by a written test. Semifinals and Finals will be consisting of different rounds with elimination of least scored teams. First and Second prizes will be awarded. All questions will be from Pharmacy subjects and Pharmacy related topics only. Quiz will be conducted during the fest.
Job Orientation
Fest is majorly aimed at providing orientation towards jobs in different sectors in addition to industry and academia.
Scholarship Schemes
Registered delegates will be provided with information related to different kinds of scholarships, stipends, financial aids, schemes offered by Government, societies, different organizations etc. Some selected students will also be awarded with scholarships during the fest.
Rangoli Contest
Maximum two teams are allowed from each college. Each team should comprise of maximum 3 members. All the members in a group must be registered candidates. Team has to enrol their details to vnips.vizag@gmail.com A place of 6 ft x 6 ft will be provided. Duration is 30 minutes. Candidates have to bring their own requirements.
Nail Art
Time of 10 minutes will be given for nail art. Participants have to bring their own requirements.
Memory Game
A spontaneous memory game will be conducted to refresh the young minds and test the memory. It is open to all and no need of prior intimation.
Pharma Puzzles
Registered delegates will be provided with Pharma puzzles in printed form to solve them and submit back for evaluation to get some gifts.
Lucky Participant
One boy and one girl lucky participants will be picked up by lottery system and will be awarded with gifts.
Mehendi
Participants have to bring their own cones. Time duration is 30 min.
Tattooing
Temporary Tattooing contest will be held for a duration of 10 min for the participants who confirmed their names by email vnips.vizag@gmail.com Participants have to bring their own requriements.
Cultural Programs
Maximum of 5 minutes is allotted for each performance. Solo dance and group dance are acceptable.
Solo dance:Maximum two teams are allowed from each college. Song title, song duration, song mps file are to be mailed to vnips.vizag@gmail.com Organizing committee will inform you about acceptance/rejection of your performance.
Group dance:Maximum two teams are allowed from each college. All the members in a group dance must be registered candidates. Song title, song duration, song mps file are to be mailed to vnips.vizag@gmail.com Organizing committee will inform you about acceptance/rejection of your performance.
